For the second time …

The Octoberun of the Fort Striders will be the second time the whole family will participate in a race. The first was the Mommy Milk Shake Marathon 2008 held this year at the Fort Bonifacio. On Sunday, I will be running with Swthrt in the 5K event. JM and Josiah will run the 3K event. Last night, I asked JM what will be his objective for the race on Sunday. Initially, he wanted to run fast to win in the 3K but upon knowing that Josiah was also registered, he decided to just accompany his younger brother throughout the race. We were really blessed with a son like him. Actually, it was Josiah who wanted to run with his kuya JM. Josiah is looking up to his kuya as his role model even though he doesn’t say it. He is confident to do anything with Kuya JM beside him.

As for me and Swthrt, we will enjoy the race and set a new PR running together as a bonus.

  1. Good luck and have fun at the race this Sunday -- getting the whole family to join is quite an achievement -- inggit ako -- can't get my wife or kids to join yet. Maybe someday!!

Hi Nora, I hope your daughter Eia is well now. Everybody was looking for you at the race, hehehe. Anyway, that's the way it should be, family first before anything else. There will be more races to come. See you soon! God bless!
